What?

We wanted to spend a couple of nights in Ubud so that we can visit this beautiful and spiritual town where there are temples and rice paddies for days. We had a wonderful time in this town and will always have the fondest memories of it.

Where?

Ubud is a town on the Indonesian island of Bali in Ubud District.

How?

We traveled from Kuta to Ubud via private driver. We spent a couple of nights at the Segara Agung Hotel (which we recommend). We had initially booked for a driver to take us around Ubud while we were in Kuta, but he had cancelled last minute because it was a holiday. Luckily, we had met this very nice guy (more about him in the Kuta, Bali post) at the Circle K in Kuta a couple nights prior, so we reached out to him and he recommended a wonderful driver to us.
