Mua Cave – Ninh Binh, Vietnam

What?

Mua cave (a.k.a Hang Mua) is a place where you can see a spectacular 360 view of Ninh Bihn and to reach the top you must climb 500 steps. It is quite a bit of a trek, the stairs steepens as you reach closer to the top, but the struggle  is worth seeing the picturesque view. Prior to reaching the staircase there is some walking involved but easy; passing by rice paddies on paved road and through a beautiful pagoda. Shortly, you will see a staircase leading you to up the mountain, at the top there is a temple and space to roam around and view Ninh Binh from different angles.

Where?

Ninh Xuân, Ninh Bình, Vietnam. Mua Cave is 5km from Ninh Binh and is a popular stop for people who take the Tam Coc tour.

How?

There are many ways to get to Mua Cave – we took a train to Ninh Binh from Nha Trang.
