Mỹ Tho is the capital city, center of economics, education and technology of Tiền Giang Province. Boat rides on the Mỹ Tho River are popular with tourists, and the city is known for hủ tiếu, a traditional Vietnamese noodle soup.

How?

We booked a day tour from our hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. We had a shuttle pick us up from the hotel and the drive was approximately 2 hours long to get there. We then took a boat ride with this sweet (and strong) lady that paddled us around the river. We then rented bikes to ride along the river and around the local neighborhoods. It was a good time overall, but wish we had more time to explore the city.
