What?

The hike is fairly moderate; our typical route starts from San Bruno, the trail is paved on a constant uphill for about 1.5 mile. Once you reach the top you will find the Portola Discovery Site, abandoned buildings, great view of the bay area…and a bathroom!

Where?

Sweeney Ridge trail is located in between San Bruno and Pacifica, California.

How?

The abandoned buildings situated on top Sweeney Ridge are mostly covered with graffiti like the photo below. You may enter some of the buildings but be cautious of your surroundings.
